I get asked about the name 'Spooy' a lot. Its a nickname from
college that just sort of stuck!
Besides that, I'm 24 years old and currently working for Digital Embryo in
New Jersey as a concept artist, where I create I.P.'s and characters for video
games. So far I've worked on one unpublished and three published Wii
titles, one unpublished DS title, and two children's books. I attended the
Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and graduated in 2006 with a
BFA in Illustration.
When I'm not working I love to sit at home and watch TV with cookies and
milk, on my big red sofa. I'm a giant fan of animation and tend to only
watch cartoons and animated movies. Comics, childrens books, and fantasy
novels are a big part of my inspiration as well, and I read and collect
plenty of them. Truthfully I'm only 5 years old pretending to be some kind
of adult.
